The workshop is element of the second phase of the project, which is aimed at the collection of information and info, generation of tips and ideas, in order to define the analysis priorities for the coming phase (2020-40). This is to align the priorities with the pillars of Oman Vision 2040, the strategic approaches of the various sectors and the sultanate’s efforts towards sustainable improvement.
There will be 1 a lot more workshop later this month on the third theme cluster of the method that is intellectual capital.
The brainstorming raised in this workshop and greatest practices shared and discussed helped drafting the outputs of the workshop.
Dr Jamilla bint Ali al Hinaiya, director of the project of the NSRD 2020-40, stated, “Food security is a key pillar for global development and the accompanying liberalisation of trade, the steady growth of the population, as well as climate change, natural disasters and political tensions. Food security issues are on the top national priorities in all countries around the world, where sustainable food security is considered an integral part for achieving sustainable development goals.”
The NSRD 2020-40 is concerned with turning understanding into funds, which refers to the actual utilisation of analysis to create revenue.
