Ten Omani entrepreneurs get RO80,000 under Tasweik 2018

The ceremony, held under the patronage of H E Dr Yahya bin Badr al Ma’awali, Undersecretary in the Ministry of Social Development and vice president of the Board of Directors of Al Raffd Fund, was also attended by David Kalife, chief executive officer, OOMCO and Tariq al Farsi, chief executive officer at Al Raffd Fund.

Tasweik is a scheme under which Al Raffd Fund offers funds to SMEs to improve advertising and branding activities.

The ten recipients from the 2018 batch received a total of RO80,000 throughout the ceremony.

Selected by a panel of specialists, the winners are owners of numerous SMEs operating in distinct sectors in the sultanate and consists of Dr Matlooba al Zadjali, founder of the International Specialized Center for Heart and Vascular Disease.

The other recipients contain Sharifa al Noumani, owner of Bright Uranus for the provide of uniforms Hafsa al Naddabi, owner of Shams al Madhfoora Trading (private college) Basma al Shukaili, owner of Sanad Services Center Jarnaz Sulaiman, owner of Cake Studio Ahmed al Maashani, Moja International Yasser al Farsi, owner of Bright Sur al Afiya for sale of developing supplies Salim Abdullah, owner of a retailer specialising in sale of fresh and barbecued meat and fish Rawiya al Marhoon, owner of a wholesale company in perfume and beauty items and Zainab al Naddabi, founder of wedding supplies company.
