The new services supplied contain information warehouse program, electronic payment program, procurement program, IELTS test outcomes notification program, university enrolment program, the program of raising the strategic plans of the parties, EDUROAM network, new e-mail program, academic jobs announcement program, and the program of nomination and choice of the distinguished workers. The opening ceremony was followed by a video presentation on the services supplied by the CIS.
Dr Nasser al Zeidi, director of CIS, gave a speech in which he highlighted the centre, its services and activities.
The information warehouse program in the initial phase hyperlinks the university to the statistical program at the Ministry of Higher Education, in cooperation with the Department of Statistics and Planning.
The electronic payment program is launched in cooperation with the Department of Finance and the Information Technology Authority.
It aims to facilitate the payment procedure to the university. The procurement program aims to streamline the obtain orders in a timely and detailed manner. The beneficiaries of the program are the Purchase Department and the organizations functioning with the university. At the finish of the ceremony, a theatrical sketch was presented to go over the projects below implementation.
