Sayyid Fahd meets German bishop

Sayyid Fahd bin Mahmoud al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for the Council of Ministers on Sunday, obtained Bishop Frank Otfried July, chairperson of the German National Committee of the Lutheran World Federation (GNC/LWF).

After welcoming the visitor and his accompanying delegation, Sayyid Fahd reviewed the sultanate’s coverage underneath the management of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said that’s primarily based on encouraging rapprochement amongst religions, communication with civilisations, and supporting dialogues with international locations all over the world for cooperation, peace and stability.

On his flip, the GNC/LWF chairperson hailed the great efforts of His Majesty the Sultan and the pleasant insurance policies pursued by the sultanate.

The assembly was attended by Sheikh Abdullah bin Mohammed al Salmi, Minister of Awqaf and Religious Affairs, Bernd Engler, president of Tuebingen University in Germany and Thomas Friedrich Schneider, Ambassador of Germany to Oman.
