Sayyid Asaad bin Tariq al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation Affairs, and Personal Representative of His Majesty the Sultan led the sultanate’s delegation at the 30th Arab Summit, on Sunday.
Deliberations of the summit had been held in Tunis in the presence of leaders and presidents of the Arab governments.
President Beji Caid Essebsi of the Republic of Tunisia led the welcoming celebration for Sayyid Asaad upon his arrival at the Conference Palace.
The Arab Summit discussed a number of problems such as developments associated to the Palestinian trigger, Arab peace initiatives, the crisis in Syria, developments in Libya and Yemen, as nicely as the Arab safety cooperation and methods to counter terrorism.
Also on the agenda had been initiatives to function for the progress of Arab League amongst a number of Arab financial and social subjects.
