In Muscat, an Asian national has been arrested for stealing RO43,000 from a supermarket in Ruwi. “The incident occurred on August 10 during the Eid holidays. The case has been registered under the Ruwi Police Station,” an ROP official stated
The arrest was produced by officials from the Criminal Investigations Department at Muscat Police Command. “After initial investigations, we found that it was not an inside job. The arrest was made within 24 hours of the incident,” the official stated.
The accused has been referred to the judicial authorities to full the investigation. In yet another incident, officials from the Bausher Police Station arrested an Asian national right after he defrauded yet another Asian of RO25,000 by means of forged perform contract.
In addition, Muscat Police Command arrested yet another individual for stealing funds and two mobile phones from a home.
