The exceptional castanet virtuoso, Lucero Tena, a former flamenco dancer, has performed as a solo castanetist in prestigious venues on 5 continents. She routinely seems with renowned orchestras such as the Hamburg Symphony Orchestra, the London Philharmonic Orchestra, Orchestre du Capitole of Toulouse, Lyon Symphony Orchestra, Bayerischer Rundfunk of Munich, and the Spanish National Orchestra.
Lucero is credited with getting created the castanet a solo instrument in orchestral music. She demonstrates an amazing virtuosity which is each mesmerising and fascinating.
