RO100mn poultry project to aid accomplish meals safety

The project will be spread more than an location of 70sq km and create 66,000 tonnes of higher-top quality white meat annually.

It will have a compound feed plant with a production capacity of 50 tonnes/hr and 500 tonnes per day. It will have a production capacity of 200,00 birds per day and can be improved to 500,000 birds a day. It will have 240 poultry breeding sheds distributed more than 20 expandable production units.

It will have automatic hatcheries with a capacity of 70mn eggs, capable of escalating to 100mn eggs per year. In addition, it will have a strong and liquid waste therapy plant with a capacity of 200 tonnes of fertiliser per day and 80 tonnes of residues of the slaughterhouse everyday. Speaking on the occasion, H E Dr Sajwani stressed the significance of Namaa Poultry Project for reaching meals safety vis-à-vis white meat by up to 80 per cent in the coming years.

He stated that meals safety projects are getting completed more than a period of time to accomplish self-sufficiency in meals goods as component of efforts by the Oman Food Security Holding Company and other businesses, in addition to the efforts produced in Al Nakheel Projects.

Eng Saleh bin Mohammed al Shanfari, CEO of Oman Food Security Company and chairman of Namaa Poultry Company, stated that it will be a single of the biggest meals production projects in the Arab planet in continuation of the projects of the Omani Food Security Company in the sultanate.
