RAO, British forces execute tactical workout

Muscat – 

The Royal Army of Oman (RAO), represented by the Musandam Security Force and the Sultan of Oman Parachutes, on Wednesday executed the Omani-British workout (Mountain Storm) with the participation of British Royal Army units.

It was held below the patronage of Maj Gen Matar bin Salim al Balushi, RAO commander.

The workout took spot at the Mountain Areas Combat Training Unit in the Governorate of Musandam.

The Omani-British forces carried out the preferred instruction objectives throughout which the participants showed a higher level of efficiency and spirit.

The implementation of such workout routines comes inside the framework of RAO’s instruction strategy to preserve the highest level of efficiency, instruction and combat efficiency amongst its personnel, as nicely as inside the annual programmes implemented with friendly nations.

The workout was attended by Brig Naseer bin Nasser al Jamoudi, commander of the Musandam Sector, Brig Simon Graham of the Royal British Forces, and a quantity of senior officers from the Omani and British sides.
