The Ministry of Health (MoH), represented by the Directorate General of Private Health Establishments, on Monday announced the winners of the Institutional Excellence Award for Private Health Sector. The ceremony was held beneath the auspices of H E Dr Ali bin Talib al Hinai, Undersecretary for Planning Affairs, Ministry of Health.
The award recognises private health sector institutions in the sultanate that have upgraded the top quality of health solutions and patients’ security by following international requirements. The award boosts the competitive perform atmosphere amongst healthcare establishments contributing to the enhancement of efficiency in these institutions.
It encourages healthcare employees to conduct scientific researches and research as nicely as encouraging entrepreneurs to invest in the private healthcare healthcare sector in Oman. Dr Mazin al Khabori, director common of Private Health Establishments, spoke on the nomination mechanism for award 2019 as nicely as choice criteria for the greatest private health institution.
Dr Khabori stated that the award has seven categories which includes the Best Private Hospital, Best Private Specialised Medical Centre, Best Private Medical (Centre/Complex), Best Private General Clinic, Best Private Dental Clinic, and Best First Aid/Colleges/Schools/Company Clinics, in addition to the Best Entrepreneur in the Private Health Sector and Best Health Establishment in Health Researches and Scientific Studies.
