Cloudy weather brought temperatures down to about 34 degrees on Tuesday. Pleasant weather will continue till Wednesday evening, the official added.
Aseela al Namaani, a sales executive although enjoying at the beach in Qurm mentioned, “I wanted to stay at home and sleep today. But the weather is so nice that I was compelled to move out. It is not humid at all. I went for a jog at the beach with my family and also had a bath in the sea.”
Aziz P K Mohammad who was observed enjoying the weather at Muttrah Corniche on Tuesday mentioned, “I went to Muttrah Corniche but it was crowded. The Shatti beach was also crowded so I believed of going to the Ghubra beach as it is a lot calmer and peaceful. The waves are much more cleaner and the park subsequent to it is a excellent spot to be.
“Ghubra has some excellent coffee shops that are reasonable and offer healthy snacks. The good thing is that there will be no rain and so there is no tension of being held up in traffic when heading back home.”
The weather will be partly cloudy to cloudy along the coastal locations of Dhofar governorate and adjoining mountains with possibilities of intermittent drizzle. Clear to partly cloudy skies will prevail more than the rest of the sultanate with possibilities of convective clouds developments and occasional thunderstorms related with downdraft wind more than Al Hajar Mountains and the adjoining wilayats.
There are also possibilities of late evening to early morning low level clouds or fog patches along most of the coastal locations, the Met workplace mentioned.
