Over 13,700 Omanis hired in North Batinah in 2018: MoM

As numerous as 13,782 Omanis had been hired in the private sector in the Governorate of North Batinah in 2018, according to the Ministry of Manpower.

Mahfouz Hamdan al Wahaibi, director basic of Manpower at the Directorate in Sohar, stated, “The directorate in coordination with the Public Authority for Manpower Register conducted 576 interviews. We are working according to the strategies of the ministry to accommodate the number of job seekers in the private sector establishments and providing training to those interested in engaging in training courses.”

He added that the North Batinah governorate is witnessing a renaissance via improvement and projects that will contribute to offering employment possibilities for citizens in different professions. Meanwhile the joint inspection team of the Directorate General of Manpower in North Batinah governorate arrested two,361 workers for violating labour law and deported two,095 final year.
