Oman ‘Favourite road-trip destination’

Oman’s Ministry of Tourism has won the ‘Favourite road-trip destination’ award at the Condé Nast Traveller Middle East Readers’ Choice Awards – the MENA region’s premier travel market awards as voted for by the readers of the magazine – at a ceremony that took spot not too long ago, at the JW Marriott Marquis.

The award is no surprise as the sultanate is bestowed with numerous all-natural sceneries, providing combined experiences of each beaches and deserts, mountains and wadis as nicely as greeneries in other components of the nation. Oman was followed by the US and Italy producing the best 3 in the category.

Asma al Hajri, assistant director basic, International Tourism Promotions, Ministry of Tourism, mentioned, “We are incredibly proud to have received this award at such an esteemed occasion highlighting Oman as a ‘Favourite road-trip destination’, particularly with gorgeous destinations which includes Italy and the United States of America sharing the category.

“This award reflects that our efforts to promote the Sultanate of Oman as a popular touristic destination are successful. Looking ahead to the future, we must build on this success and work harder than ever in continuing to promote Oman as a destination for all to discover and experience.”

The award is a outcome of the continuous efforts of the Ministry of Tourism to market the Sultanate of Oman in this region given that its establishment in 2004.
