The prestigious award, in its fifth year, recognises exceptional company leaders and businesses for their continuing commitment to excellence as effectively as creating greatest practices and revolutionary methods. Oman Air, was also named as the winner of the ‘Asia Pacific Outstanding Airline’ award at the Now Travel Asia Awards held in Chengdu, China lately. It is the second year in a row that Oman Air has received this award – voted for by the readers of Now Travel Asia magazine.
The award was received on behalf of Oman Air by Hamad al Harthy, regional vice president Far East and Joe Cusmano, nation manager, Thailand.
The award recognises the commitment of Oman Air towards travel and tourism in Thailand and Asia Pacific and in offering the guests with high quality, comfort and a seamless passenger encounter. Eng Abdulaziz al Raisi, chief executive officer, Oman Air mentioned, “This is a great way for Oman Air to conclude the year by winning two more awards to the growing long list of awards that we have for the year. These awards are a testament of our superb services and product offerings and it is immensely rewarding to be recognised this way.”
The year 2018 has been a stellar year for Oman Air. Apart from winning a multitude of awards and accolades, Oman Air also added eight new aircraft to its expanding fleet and began 3 new destinations namely, Istanbul in Turkey, Casablanca in Morocco and Moscow in Russia, apart from resuming operations to the Maldives.
