Diam has issued a selection (No two/2019 on February 12) exactly where it lists all kinds of water tariff in the sultanate. Earlier, the authority was recognized as the Public Authority for Electricity and Water (PAEW), but following the Royal Decree 40/2018, all powers and prerogatives allocated to PAEW connected with the electrical energy sector have been transferred to the Ministry of Oil and Gas.
There has been no modify in water tariff given that 2016.
The existing tariff for government, industrial and industrial consumption is three.5bz per gallon. The tariff for citizens and residents is fixed at 2bz for consumption from 1-five,000 gallons and two.5bz for consumption exceeding five,000 gallons.
