The measurement stations of MRMWR registered 50.6mm rainfall in the police region in Jebel Akhdar in Nizwa, 31.6mm in Bidbid, 21.4mm in the Tawi Zahir region in the wilayat of Izki and 18.8mm in Bahla.

In the wilayat of Al Hamra, 42mm rainfall was recorded in Al Hoota region, 35mm in Jebel Shams, 29.8mm in Jebel al Sarra, 18mm in Ghubra al Khor, 15mm close to the post workplace and 16mm close to the municipality developing.
The quantity of rain recorded in the wilayat of Samail was 28.2mm in Wadi Muharram, 26.2mm in Samail Municipality, 20mm in Wadi al Auq, and 15.6mm in Wadi Bani Rawaha, MRMWR stated.

One arrested in Samail for crossing overflowing wadi
One motorist has been arrested for crossing a wadi in spate in Samail, Dakhliyah.
The ROP mentioned that the citizen was arrested for driving via Wadi al Auq in Samail.
The ROP mentioned legal action will be taken against him to send a powerful message that such inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated. As per the new visitors law there will be a prison sentence of up to 3 months and a fine of RO500 for intentionally crossing flooded wadis and placing one’s personal life and others’ lives at threat.
Also, an ROP team removed a big boulder that fell from a mountain on the principal road top to Jebel Akhdar as a outcome of the rain on Sunday.
