Eng Ali bin Saif al Hadi, secretary of the Industrial Register at the Directorate General of Industries, mentioned the inspection campaign covered 331 out of the total target of 380 such industries. These contain 25 in Batinah, 48 in Buraimi, 93 in South Sharqiyah, 42 in Dakhliyah, 13 in Musandam and 30 in Dhofar.
Eng Hadi mentioned that inspections carried out on industrial establishments checked for raw components and gear employed in production. It was also meant for confirmation of production capacity as effectively as level of compliance of the project maintaining in thoughts security and hygiene measures. The enterprises have been also urged to recruit national manpower at different stages from execution or throughout expansions.
He mentioned that such monitoring campaigns are important to make certain that these establishments comply with the laws and regulations.
