The khareef season starts on June 21 and ends on September 21 each and every year. “Commercial activities increase by 300 per cent during the season in Dhofar. It is natural that during this period the demand for goods and services increases.”
He mentioned that MoCI held a quantity of meetings with the government organisations concerned with the khareef season 2019 to go over its preparedness.
Hinai mentioned that organisations have been asked to make certain all kinds of goods and solutions such as foodstuff, money solutions in banks, transport is obtainable throughout the khareef season.
