Media Family Forum appears to develop awareness, strengthen relations

Muscat – 

 The Ministry of Information, in cooperation with the Public Authority for Radio and Television (Component), and Sultan Qaboos University (SQU), final week held a Media Family Forum.

H E Mohammed al Zubair, Advisor to His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said for Economic Planning Affairs, presided more than the award ceremony at SQU’s Cultural Centre. The Media Family Forum aimed to develop awareness of Omani media and strengthen the connection among official institutions and media and supplying an atmosphere that supports different efforts of the media initiatives.

H E Dr Abdulmunim bin Mansour bin Said al Hasani, Minister of Information, mentioned that the forum was a outcome of a strategic partnership among the Ministry of Information, Component, Ministry of Higher Education and Sultan Qaboos University.

He pointed out that the Omani media in the previous year accomplished a lot. He added that a quantity of instruction programmes had been implemented.
