Majan Electricity opens RO1.6mn substation in North Batinah

MJEC not too long ago opened the Majaz Primary Substation at a price of RO1.6mn in North Batinah governorate.

The primary objective of the project was to divert load from Al Uwainat and Al Khushda substations. It is deemed as a single of the most crucial projects to meet the expanding demand for load and add further capacity to Al Uwainat location.

The building perform has been divided into two components, the initial is the building of 33/11kV substation for RO1.2mn. The second component is the building of 13km of underground cable feeders from Al Uwainat Grid station (132/33kV) to Majaz Primary Substation (33/11kV), at a price of RO400,000.

“We are proud to announce that these projects have been directly supervised by MJEC engineers to ensure commitment to quality standards,” the organization stated. Majan Electricity Company is a member of Nama Group that distributes and supplies energy in North Batinah, Dhahirah and Buraimi.
