The 3-day celebration will also felicitate the winners of numerous competitions in categories such as dance, music, fine arts and literary activities for kids and adults. The competitions had been held for more than a month.
Acclaimed actor, screenwriter, film director and producer from the south Indian film market Lal, who has worked in Malayalam, Tamil and Telugu films, will be the guest of honour.
Dr Sathish Nambiar, chairman, Indian Social Club will provide the presidential address and Babu Rajendran, common secretary will do the felicitation. On the very first day, renowned violinist from India, Sabareesh Prabhaker and his team will execute.
On the second day, the winners of Onam competitions 2019 will be awarded Kalaratna and best scorers in each and every category will be honoured. Academic excellence award will be offered to the best scorers of CBSE’s 10th and 12th grade students. Toppers in Malayalam will be also honoured by the chief guest.
On the third day, the conventional Ona Sadhya (Onam feast) will be served. Around four,000 individuals are anticipated for the celebrations. The convener of the programme is Abraham Mathew and co-convener Sreekumar P. Entry is by invitation only.
