Interior ministry announces nomination deadline for Majlis A’Shura elections

Muscat – 

H E Sayyid Hamoud bin Faisal al Busaidi, Minister of Interior issued Ministerial Decision three/2019 specifying the deadline and specifications for candidates interested in submitting nominations to the ninth term of Majlis A’Shura. 

As per the selection, nomination applications can be submitted among February three and 21. The final date for withdrawing nomination will be August 22.

The Ministry of Interior has mentioned that citizens interested in submitting nominations and who meet the specifications might submit their application by means of the election web site www.elections.om. Applications are accessible on the web site.

Candidates are also needed to submit supportive documents along with the application type. The ministry has also specified that any application submitted right after the deadline or by means of any imply other than the elections web site will not be entertained.
