Royal Decree 55/2019 promulgates the Statistics and Information Law following it had been presented just before the Council of Oman.
Article 1
stipulates that the Statistics and Information Law attached to this Decree will be enforced.
Article two
instructs the Board Chairman of the National Centre for Statistics and Information to concern the executive regulation and choices required for the implementation of the attached law following the approval of the centre’s board. The chairman will also concern the National Data Strategy following the approval of the centre’s board and the Council of Ministers. Till then, the regulations and choices becoming implemented will continue to be enforced, but without having prejudice to the provisions of the attached law.
Article three
cancels the Statistics Law promulgated beneath Royal Decree 29/2001, as nicely as all that contradicts the attached law or contravenes it provisions.
Article four
says that this Decree will be published in the official gazette and enforced with impact from the day following its publication date.
Royal Decree 56/2019 introduces some amendments to the Law on Pensions and End of Service Remunerations (Gratuities) of Omani staff of the Diwan of Royal Court.
Article 1
states that the amendments attached to the above-pointed out Law on Pensions and End of Service Remunerations (Gratuities) attached to this Decree will be applied in the case of Omani staff of the Diwan of Royal Court.
Article two
cancels all that contradicts the attached amendments or contravenes their provisions.
Article three
says that this Decree will be published in the official gazette and enforced with impact from the day following its publication date.
