His Majesty the Sultan problems 4 Royal Decrees

Article 1
 states that the Commercial Companies Law attached to this Decree will be enforced.

Article two
 stipulates that the Minister of Commerce and Industry and the Chairman of Capital Market Authority, each and every according to his powers and prerogatives, will problem regulations for implementing the provisions of this law inside a period not a lot more than 1 year from its date of enforcement, and that they will also problem the choices essential for the implementation of the provisions of this law. Till such choices are issued, the present regulations and choices will continue to be applied with out prejudice to the provisions of this (new) law.

Article three
 states that current industrial organizations, as of the date of enforcement of this law, will rectify their status inside 1 year from the date of implementation of this law.

Article four
 states that the Commercial Companies Law promulgated below Royal Decree four/74 will be cancelled, and so will all that contravenes this (new) law or contradicts with its provisions.

Article five
 states that this Decree will be published in the official gazette and enforced right after 60 days from the date of its publishing.

 

 

Royal Decree 19/2019 promulgates the Minerals (wealth/sources) Law, right after presenting the exact same prior to Oman Council.

Article 1
 states that the Minerals Law attached to this Decree will be enforced.

Article 2 
stipulates that the Council will problem the Executive Regulation (bylaw) of this law inside a period of not a lot more than 1 year from the date of its issuance.

The Council will also problem the choices essential for the implementation of its provisions. Till then, the present regulations and selection will continue to be enforced with out prejudice to the provisions of this law.

Article three
 states that exploitation (utilisation) agreements and licences signed prior to the enforcement of this law will continue to be implemented and that they (agreements and licences) will be renewed in accordance with the provisions stated in this law. The adjudication of licence applications presented prior to the enforcement of this law will be in accordance with the procedures stated in this law.

Article four
 states that the Mining Law promulgated below Royal Decree 27/2003 will be cancelled, and all that contravenes this law or contradicts with its provisions.

Article five states that this Decree will be published in the official gazette and enforced on the day following the passing of 30 days right after its date of publishing.

 

 

Royal Decree 20/2019 promulgates the Marine Life (wealth/sources) Law.

Article 1
 states that the Marine Life Law attached to this Decree will be enforced.

Article two
 stipulates that the Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries will problem the Executive Regulation (bylaw) for implementing the provisions of this law inside a period not a lot more than 1 year from its date of issuance. The minister will also problem the choices essential for the enforcement of provisions of this law. Till then, the present regulations and choices will continue to be implemented with out prejudice to the provisions of this law.

Article three
 cancels the Law on Maritime Fishing and Marine Life Protection promulgated below Royal Decree 53/81, and all that contravenes this law or contradicts with its provisions.

Article four
 states that this Decree will be published in the official gazette and enforced right after 90 days from its date of publishing.

 

 

Royal Decree 21/2019 amends some of the provisions of Royal Decree two/93 on the establishment of the Royal Omani Amateur Radio Society.

Article 1
 replaces the text of Article six of Royal Decree two/93 with the following text:

“The Minister of Transport and Communications will issue the Articles of Association of the Royal Omani Amateur Radio Society, as well as the decisions necessary for implementation of this Decree. Till such a time, the current regulations and decisions will continue to be enforced without prejudice to the provisions of this Decree.”

Article two
 cancels the text of Article four of Royal Decree two/93 and the Articles of Association attached to Royal Decree two/93, as effectively as all that contravenes this (new) Decree or contradicts with its provisions.

Article three
 states that this Decree will be published in the official gazette and enforced on its date of problem.
