H E Dr Yahya bin Mahfoudh al Mantheri, Chairman of the State Council and Lord Peter Norman Fowler, Speaker of the British House of Lords, on Tuesday discussed ways to strengthen Omani-British relations and expand cooperation, specifically in the parliamentary field.
During the talks at the House of Lords, Lord Fowler stressed that the go to of the State Council chairman and his delegation would contribute to opening up new horizons of cooperation in numerous locations major to mutual advantages.
Lord Fowler praised the sultanate’s efforts – led by His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said – in preserving stability in the area as nicely as contributing successfully to international peace.
