The initiative encourages eco-friendly awareness and promotes a conservation culture inside schools across the sultanate.
Supporting ESO’s initiative are Veolia Oman, a major international and regional resource management business, and Emily’s Garden, a memorial fund that has been set up by the Jewitt loved ones in memory of their late daughter Emily who was passionate about the atmosphere and actively supporting alter in her personal college in Oman and later in the Netherlands.
Participating schools are needed to recognize an current environmental challenge inside their college or neighborhood and start functioning on activities to alleviate these issues.
The environmental categories fall below 3 pre-determined themes which includes ‘Best School in Waste Management’, ‘Best School in Water Management’, and ‘Best School in Energy Management’. An official ceremony will take location to recognise the participating schools and schools with the very best contribution.
