E-Census committee stresses on the importance of community participation

During the meeting, Dr Barwani highlighted the importance of concerned authorities becoming prepared to update information. He also stated they want to be ready for implementing activities of the not too long ago launched nationwide campaign, named ‘Your Data, Your Identity’. He added that supplying citizens and residents with necessary facilities is a priority.

Eng Omar al Ismaili, director common of E-Census 2020 indicated that the relevant authorities would steadily implement the procedure of updating information. The E-Census 2020 is the fourth census to be implemented by the sultanate given that the Renaissance.
