Dr Sultan bin Yarub al Busaidi, advisor Health Affairs to the Ministry of Health, on Tuesday chaired the third meeting of the Coordination and Follow-up Committee of Health Sector for Health Services in the Al Wusta governorate. The meeting was held in the presence of Khalifa bin Saif al Yaqobi, director basic of Health Services of Al Wusta.
Dr Busaidi mentioned that the meeting aimed to adhere to-up the progress of perform in the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) in Al Wusta Governorate, assessment the troubles and obstacles facing the implementation and improvement of perform at the level of the governorate, as nicely as offering the needful help.
He praised the efforts of all workers, pointing out to the achievements created by DGHS in the course of the health campaigns and climatic situations witnessed by the governorate.
The meeting discussed the ninth Five-Year Operational Plan of the governorate, epidemiological preparedness plans, emergency circumstances and crisis management and reviewed the committee’s achievements in the course of 2017 and 2018.
Yaqobi reviewed the performance indicators in terms of the distribution of the health solutions at the level of the governorate, the main and secondary healthcare solutions in Haima Hospital along with the human sources operating in the governorate.
