Civil Service Council holds meeting

Muscat – 

The Civil Service Council on Sunday held its initial meeting for 2019 below the chair of H E Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal al Busaidi, Minister of Diwan of Royal Court and Chairman of the council. The council reviewed a report on the stick to-up of the measures taken to implement the choices and suggestions produced at the fourth meeting in 2018.

The council discussed a quantity of subjects that integrated reviewing some provisions of the executive regulations of the Civil Service Law.

Further, the council reviewed some subjects connected to various functional elements, which contribute to attaining the objectives of the governmental units, applying the Civil Service Law, and regulating the mechanisms of implementing the terms of reference of these units according the organisational structure of these units.

The council also reviewed the final results of the perform of the committees for the objective of studying a quantity of subjects connected to the circumstance of staff in civil service units. Additionally, the council reviewed a quantity of other subjects on its agenda, which have been received from numerous ministries and government units and took suitable choices and suggestions.
