Children’s music band to carry out for cancer fundraising initiative

Infinity Band, an all-kids expert band, will be organising a fundraiser to help projects of the Oman Cancer Association (OCA). The occasion will be held on April 26 at Al Falaj Hotel, Ruwi. Apart from bringing new talents on stage by means of the band, the kids want to develop awareness amongst folks about the plight and suffering of the kids about the planet. 

“Currently, children who perform in the band are from various Indian schools in Oman. This time, these children have come up with an even nobler cause of being part of the cancer awareness programme. They will conduct a fundraising musical extravaganza ‘Panacea 2019’ for the Oman Cancer Association,” mentioned Manoj Manuel, programme co-coordinator, Infinity Band.

He added, “With this occasion they hope to help cancer sufferers and survivors and develop awareness on early cancer detection.

“Events like these can provide just the encouragement needed for them in bringing about harmony among people around them at a young age and to make this world more beautiful and peaceful in spite of various issues.”

Shaikh Saud al Rawahi, advisor and vice president of OCA, mentioned, “It is great to see the efforts put in by children during their busy academic schedules. Their support to the community is appreciated and we encourage more youth to come forward.”
