Bahwan Cybertek to develop e-services for housing ministry

Under the agreement, which will serve as a model for the public-private partnership, a platform will be set up to offer a lot more than 60 electronic solutions covering most of the ministry’s solutions in the locations of preparing, land surveying, genuine estate registration, social housing and genuine estate improvement, as nicely as the solutions of the auditors.

It is hoped that the new platform of the Ministry of Housing will be activated by the finish of 2020 by means of different channels, such as the ministry’s site and the applications of wise phones. The platform will also permit guests to access their properties straight.

In the location of social housing, electronic integration with other relevant institutions will be activated by linking databases with out the want for citizen evaluation of the ministry. Dr Salim bin Sultan al Ruzaiqi, chief executive officer of the Information Technology Authority, mentioned that this is the initial integrated project among government and private sector institutions.

“It aims to continue and support the national trend towards digital transformation and facilitate the procedures for obtaining electronic services provided by government institutions,” he mentioned, adding that the part of private sector institutions in supporting the national method of the Digital Oman Society and eGovernment is very valued.

Hilal bin Khamis al Mukhaini, common manager of Bahwan Cybertek mentioned that the agreement represents the initial-of-its -type signed by the organization with the Ministry of Housing. “This is a large project with high technology and represents a qualitative leap in the level of government services provided,” he mentioned.

The project aims to full the electronic transformation of the ministry by means of the improvement of a new electronic solutions platform as an alternative of the present platform.
