This was announced at a press meet in Muscat on Sunday. Operating beneath the management of English Education Management Company, the flagship educational facility of Al Tamman Holding, AGS is a joint venture with the education group Al Najah Education from the UAE.
The initial international college in the Al Wusta governorate, AGS Duqm provides Cambridge international curriculum with the capacity to admit a lot more than 200 students of different nationalities in its initial academic year 2019-20.
The college is set to admit kids from the kindergarten level (KG1) to grade five in the initial phase. It will upgrade to the Upper Preparatory and Senior School with IGCSE in subsequent years. The opening of A’soud Global School in Duqm region follows the tremendous good results of the Muscat branch, which opened in 2016.
Located at the Rock Garden district of Duqm, the state-of-the-art facilities consist of stimulating and spacious classrooms, outside multi-games courts, swimming and splash pools, a football pitch, an indoor multipurpose sports hall, a library, an ICT area, art and drama area, and laboratories.
The objective-constructed campus spans 15,000sq m and will accommodate pupils from the ages of three years and two months to 12 years and two months, as per the recommendations set by the Ministry of Education.
