All applicants allotted seats in Indian schools in Muscat: BoD

The Board of Directors of Indian Schools in Oman stated on Monday that a total of four,746 youngsters had applied for admissions in the capital region and all of them have been allotted seats by means of the on the internet draw for 2019-20.

The numbers account for admission of students from KG 1 to Class IX.

In a statement, the Board of Directors (BoD) stated, “The application portal will again be activated for fresh admissions to all classes from March 24. Parents need to take a printout of the duly filled online application form and approach the school where admission is required. Admission will be granted subject to availability of seats. Indian School Bausher will include Class VIII in the new application portal.”

Due to a huge quantity of parents looking for admissions for their youngsters, the demand usually outstrips the total quantity of accessible seats in all Indian schools in the capital. “However, the Centralized Admission System with online registration introduced by the Board of Directors has facilitated the entire admission process, making it convenient for parents and schools to take care of rush for admissions.”
