Al Zubair photography contest registration extended till April 15

Muscat – 

Al Zubair Photography Competition, a single of the largest photography competitions in the GCC, has extended the submission deadline to April 15. The competitors focuses on the theme of Omani architecture and will grant a single of the largest prize packages ever awarded for photography competitions in Oman and the GCC. 

The very first spot winner will get a prize of RO4,000, second prize RO2,000 and RO1,000 for third spot winner.

The winners will be chosen from a pool of ten finalists. The panel of judges contain H E Eng Sultan bin Hamdoon al Harthi, and photographers Henry Dallal, Victor Romero, Catalin Marin and Khamis Ali al Moharbi.

Participants can register only a single photo via the web site, www.alzubairphotography.com. Submissions require to contain a RAW file of the photograph with a maximum size of 50MB, as nicely as a JPEG version (not exceeding 5MB).

The competitors is created to recognise talent in the visual arts in Oman and the area. The Al Zubair Photography Competition is open to skilled and amateur photographers more than the age of 18. Only these photographs will be permitted that have been clicked following January 1, 2015 and it must not have entered in any competitors. High resolution photographs taken with a telephone are also accepted.
