The agreement was signed with Khimji Ramdas Construction. The developing has been created by Muamir Design and Engineering Consultancy for totally free as a present to the association. Speaking at the contract signing ceremony, Hritik Khimji, director of Khimji Ramdas (KR), mentioned, “We are delighted to help the Association of Early Intervention for Children with Disability to construct their new centre of excellence.
“Our team of qualified engineers and construction experts are eager to make a meaningful contribution to the association’s objective of building a world-class facility providing rehabilitation to children with special needs.”
He added, “Eshraqa, KR’s social development arm, will continue to support the association in integrating differently abled children into the mainstream society.”
The association at present serves kids from Muscat as effectively as a quantity of households from other components of Oman.
It gives holistic rehabilitation solutions for kids from infancy to age nine, following which it integrates them into schools and specialised centres.
Sabah al Bahlani, CEO of AEICD, mentioned, “The association aims not to merely treat the children’s disabilities, but to empower them as individuals, regardless of the challenges they encounter.
“We support their families by providing them the tools and training to care for and assist their children. Many people only see bleak circumstances; we see hope and possibility, and help children and their families to see it, too.”
Rahama al Musharafi, chairperson of AEICD, mentioned that the association operates on the principle of upholding the rights of kids with disabilities to reside with dignity and equality.
“We seek to provide programmes that will help them achieve the highest degree of independence, self-reliance and integration into society. We urge companies, individuals, and the community at large to support the cause with their donations.”
