Adventurer Nabi scales Australia’s highest peak

Mount Kosciuszko which is Australia’s highest mountain, is positioned on the Main Range of the Snowy Mountains in Kosciuszko National Park, component of the Australian Alps National Parks and Reserves, in New South Wales.

Nabi mentioned it took six hours for him to attain the summit.

Patience was the crucial, mentioned Nabi, explaining the challenges he encountered on his way up the mountain.

“The climb up to these breathtaking places is not easy as the weather is unpredictable in these areas. Here I encountered a good number of snakes as well.”

He added, “I raised the image of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said and Oman’s flag over the top of the mountain. I also raised the logo of Oman Vision 2040 Conference.”

Besides Mount Kosciuszko, Nabi has scaled numerous mountains such as the renowned Mt Kilimanjaro in Africa, Mt Aconcagua in Argentina and Mt Elbrus in Russia.

Mountain climbing has turn out to be a component and parcel of his life, Nabi mentioned.

“This is my passion. The steep mountain slopes keep calling and I set out to discover each every year. I wish to scale seven peaks of the world and promote Oman. I am also thankful to the Ministry of Sports Affairs and National Youth Committee for their continued support.”

Nabi is eyeing Mt Denali in North America to scale subsequent.
