42 nationals full Khimji Ramdas instruction programme

The occasion was held below the auspices of H E Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Abdullah al Bakri, Minister of Manpower. This was KR’s 14th batch of trainees who had been chosen from an application pool of more than 1,300 graduates.

The newest batch of trainees completed a 4-month programme in Oman below the Training Initiative for Nationals (TIN), delivered in partnership with Khimji Training Institute (KTI), just before travelling to Kuala Lumpur for 3 weeks of intensive residential instruction.

While instruction in Malaysia, participants focused on vital subjects such as anxiety management, leadership, overall performance improvement and outbound instruction processes. Upon completion of their instruction in Kuala Lumpur, KR’s trainees returned to Muscat to commence perform in their new roles on December 10, 2018.

Pankaj Khimji, director of KR, stated, “On behalf of the KR family, I extend our heartiest congratulations to the new recruits for their dedication and success in our Management Trainee Programme. Today, we have the privilege of investing in local talent and celebrating their success as we work towards the realisation of a competitive national workforce in Oman with this latest batch of qualified professionals joining our ranks as future leaders of the KR Group.”

He added, “Our programme has proved highly competitive over the years with many promising applicants vying for positions. In line with the national agenda, we take great pride in conducting this initiative with a view to deliver In-Country Value through a strategic approach in recruiting the very best of local talent. We wish our new recruits the very best in their careers.”

Participants of the programme also earned formal accreditation from the United Kingdom’s vocational instruction institute City &amp Guilds.

To date, 159 trainees, such as 73 females, have benefited from the KR programme as a profession launch pad.
