Zain Property Development handed over officially the contract for Al Muna Gardens project to SMC Infra at a signing ceremony last week. Al Muna Garden project will be the first-ever green residential city in the heart of Muscat, consisting of 122 villas divided into four categories.

The completion of the project will take 33 months. Madhusudhan P, executive director, SMC Infra stated, “We have been in the industry for almost a decade and ever since the operations which started way back in 2011, we have undertaken projects worth more than RO100mn. “We, at the company, are well-equipped with the best of the technical, engineering and managerial skills and are confident to handover to the client within the designated time.”

SMC Infra began its humble starting with just 5 workers and in a brief span of eight years have grown to more than three,000 with a mixture of various nationalities. Biju Chandran, CEO, SMC Infra stated, “We have undertaken projects all across Oman including Salalah, Sohar, Khasab and Muscat. There are also projects that are in Tanzania, Ghana, Malawi and India. The company is fully ISO-certified in quality, environment and health-safety.”

Mishaal Mohammed al Raisi, chief executive officer of Zain Property Development stated, “We are happy to partner with SMC Infra. “The project site is only ten minutes away from Muscat International Airport and only five minutes away from the ministries area, The Royal Hospital, Muscat Private Hospital, Mall of Oman and shopping centres in the Al Khuwayr area.” Khawla Mohammed Abdullah, basic manager of Zain Property Development, reviewed the company’s track.
