WCAS holds faculty improvement programme on Data Science making use of R Programming

The FDP led by Dr Noushath Saffi, College of Applied Science, Sohar was the resource individual, who introduced the simple ideas on R Programming, Installing and Exploring the R Environment, Basics of R, R Data Structures, Essential R functions, Plotting in R, Introduction to Data Sciences, Clustering in R and ggplot2 Package for Advanced Plotting in R.

Dr Saffi created the class interactive by providing hands-on coaching for the faculty members to resolve and thereby boost their understanding. The FDP highlighted the use of totally free and open supply computer software, which is freely accessible on the Internet. R gives numerous packages which assists in designing, analysing and visualisation of information.
