Waleed Pharmacy gets ISO 9001:2015 certification

Waleed Pharmacy and Stores, a single of the major pharmacies in Oman, has reached yet another milestone in its history. It has lately been awarded the ISO 9001:2015 certification by International Certification Centre of Bureau Veritas Certification Holding SAS, UK. The business held a ceremony to mark the occasion on Thursday at its head workplace in Ghubra. 

Waleed Pharmacy’s CEO Dr Mahesh Karajgikar highlighted the quest of the business for enhancing efficiency and their consumer centric method.

This up-gradation to ISO 9001: 2015 with extended scope from Service Division to Surgical division and Pharma Division which includes the branch outlets across Oman is an affirmation that the business has adopted and complied with the greatest identified top quality management requirements in healthcare sector.

Dr Karajgikar stressed about how their continuous-in home instruction programmes played a heroic part in this certification. Training as dispensed by Waleed Pharmacy to its internal and external consumers plays a important part in the understanding-primarily based healthcare market.

John D’Rosario, regional technical manager-Middle East Region from Bureau Veritas presented the ISO 9001:2015 certificate to Waleed Pharmacy.
