Unicef meeting touches on overweight, obesity issues in the sultanate

The meeting touches on the experiences of Oman in addressing higher levels of overweight and obesity problems. The other nations that are presenting their achievement stories contain Jordan, Egypt, Sudan and Palestine.

The multi-nation meeting aims at enhancing Early Childhood Nutrition by means of strengthened policies and programmes in the area, stated a press release.

It is getting organised by the Unicef Middle East and North Africa Regional Office.
