The creation of the OCCI Innovation Award comes in a bid to market innovation culture at distinct governorates and to recognize talented folks, researchers and innovators in distinct components of the sultanate.
OCCI Innovation Award also aims at encouraging and spreading innovation culture in the sultanate and to allow talented innovators to showcase their revolutionary activities. It also seeks to improve public, private and academic cooperation.
The award has eight categories: power, well being, meals safety, atmosphere, IT, processing industries, logistic solutions and tourism.
The award targets college, university and college students, entrepreneurs, job seekers and residents in distinct governorates. Statistics show that the very first edition of the award received 460 revolutionary proposals at the seven centres of the award.
