Sultanate’s commitment to peace, tolerance highlighted in Korea

Muscat – 

The sultanate’s Embassy in Korea not too long ago participated in the very first Public Diplomacy Week organised by the Korean Cultural Foundation more than 3 days. It incorporated lectures and seminars on public diplomacy, photo exhibitions and numerous activities of Korean institutions. It also incorporated an exhibition of diplomatic missions. 

The embassy’s pavilion embodied the sultanate’s strategy to public diplomacy. A poster exhibition inside the pavilion displayed the Islamic message of tolerance, understanding and co-existence, and the strategy of the sultanate in spreading the values of really like and peace. The embassy pavilion also incorporated numerous books on the sultanate, numerous tourist maps and heritage exhibits.

H E Mohammed bin Salim al Harthy, sultanate’s ambassador, delivered a lecture at the University of Awha, exactly where he gave an overview of the sultanate, its historical and cultural elements, and the function of the sultanate in planet trade and the Silk Road more than the ages.

H E Harthy mentioned, “Within the framework of the embassy’s efforts in public diplomacy, it aims at introducing the sultanate and highlighting the historical, cultural and heritage aspects of the Blessed Renaissance and the sultanate’s approach to tolerance, coexistence.”
