Sultanate to host WHO-UHC regional meeting in September

The meeting will be organised by the World Health Organization (WHO) in collaboration with the Ministry of Health.

High level officials from the area will participate in the meeting, such as ministers of wellness from 22 Eastern Mediterranean Region nations, undersecretaries and chief technical officers from the ministries of wellness, a quantity of senior officials from ministries of finance, organizing, social welfare and larger education and parliamentary sectors.

There will also be advisors and specialists, improvement partners and United Nations organisations, representatives from civil society organisations, private sectors and academia, as effectively as some national wellness institutions.

H E Dr Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Obaid al Sae’edi, Minister of Health, highlighted the value of the meeting at the international level, as it represents the highest guiding authority in the international wellness method.

He also stressed that the sultanate’s reputation in hosting and organising crucial international activities and events in numerous fields, as effectively as its excellent reception for all going to delegations has enabled the sultanate to be a international location.
