The committee hosted a quantity of officials from the Ministry of Regional Municipalities and Water Resources (MRMWR) as element of its study on the protection of kids from accidents, stated a press release.
The discussion focused on a quantity of subjects associated to the topic of the study, such as the elements that lead to accidents, the programmes obtainable to shield kids from accidents and their effectiveness, specifically in the locations of awareness raising and the reduction of elements that pose a threat to kids.
It also discussed the coordination among distinct agencies to decrease youngster accidents, actions and proposals that could contribute to the reduction of accidents such as the modernisation of laws and legislation, the improvement of residential organizing, and other procedures.
The delegation from MRMWR integrated Dr Abdullah bin Mohammed Baawain, assistant director basic for Technical Affairs, Eng Abdul Rasul bin Sheeran al Balushi, director of the Department of Internal Roads and Lighting, Eng Sakina bint Ahmed al Khabouria, chief of Technical Affairs and Eng Salim bin Ahmed al Riyami, architect.
