State Council, Majlis A’Shura celebrate Omani Women’s Day

The celebration was attended by H E Sheikh Khalid bin Hilal al Maawali, Chairman of Majlis A’Shura, the two vice chairpersons of the State Council, secretary generals of each the State Council and Majlis A’Shura, and a number of members from each the councils.

According to a press release, the celebration incorporated the screening of a film documenting the journey of Omani females and a speech by Altaf bint Omar al Marhoon, assistant secretary common of the Information and Research Centre. She stated the celebration of Omani Women’s Day recognises the possibilities offered by His Majesty Sultan

She added that Omani females have produced tremendous progress in social, financial and political spheres and have the correct to be proud right now of their gains and to flaunt their achievements in all fields of function.

“We had the honour of being a part of this distinguished council in its previous sessions, and we have had the opportunity to contribute to its work – a rich and useful experience that we have learnt so much from. We hope that we have contributed to building our nation,” she stated In conclusion, she expressed her thanks and appreciation to the State Council chairman, Majlis A’Shura chairman and members of the two councils for creating the celebration of Omani Women’s Day feasible.

H E Dr Mantheri presented the former females members of each the councils mementoes in recognition of their function in serving the neighborhood.
