State Council committee hosts officials as element of its study on accidents involving kids

The 11th meeting of the committee was chaired by Hon Dr Hamad bin Suleiman al Salami, in the presence of members of the committee and the secretariat employees.

As per a press release, the committee discussed the efforts of OWA and Omani Children’s Association to minimize youngster accidents, the programmes obtainable to shield kids from accidents, and the effectiveness of these programmes and their varieties.

It also discussed the elements contributing to accidents and procedures or proposals that might contribute to lowering accidents such as modify in laws, legislation, supervision and adhere to-up, adding to the committee’s discussion with ministry officials on techniques to raise awareness of the danger elements of youngster accidents.

The council hosted Sheikha bint Saa bin Ali al Mudhafar, president, OWA Barka, and Rahma bint Mubarak bin Ilmas al Nofaliah, president, OWA Musannah.

From the Omani Children’s Association the council hosted, Dr Ibrahim bin Sultan al Harthy, president, Dr Amer bin Mohammed al Aisry and Idris al Falety.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the committee adopted the minutes of the prior meeting.
