The exhibition is organized by the History & Archeology Society at the Deanship of Student Affairs, in cooperation with the Political Science Group at the College of Economics & Political Science at the University. The exhibition aims to introduce the relations in between the Sultanate and the United Kingdom in political, financial and cultural spheres in the previous and the existing era and highlight the typical interests of the two nations.
The exhibition held at the exhibition hall at the Student Services Center from March 19 to 21, aims to attract students from different universities, private colleges, and schools to share the historical details, which hyperlinks the two nations to the society in a modern day and revolutionary way.
The exhibition attributes a quantity of booths the initial booth introduces the group and clarifies the thought of the exhibition and its objectives. The second booth (political relations) sheds light on the chronology of the historical relations in between Oman and UK, and the financial booth discusses the most crucial financial activities in between the two nations. The “travelers and orientalists booth”, shares details on the British travelers and orientalists who visited the Sultanate. The other two stations are the photography booth and the hospitality booth.
