The two-day discussion board started on Monday below the patronage of H H Sayyida Dr Muna bint Fahd al Said, Assistant Vice Chancellor for External Cooperation at Sultan Qaboos University.

Professor Angelo Ricapone, professor of administration management methods on the University of Siena, and chairman of PRIMA Foundation in Barcelona, Spain, who was the visitor of honour of the discussion board, delivered a presentation entitled ‘Applying the 2030 Agenda…What is the role of business?’.

A e-book titled Corporate Social Responsibility, Best Practices in Oman and the World by Hilal al Salami was launched throughout the opening session of the discussion board.

Numerous specialists within the area of social duty from totally different nations took half within the occasion.

The second theme, entitled ‘Challenges of Social Responsibility Management’, included a working paper entitled ‘Corporate Citizenship: On the Basis of Social Responsibility Partnership’.

The third theme targeted on the challenges of actuality and prospects for the long run within the area of social duty.

The discussion board was attended by numerous ministers, members of the State Council, under-secretaries, consultants and officers from the private and non-private sectors.
