Royal Horse Racing Club hosts meet with horse owners, trainers

Muscat – 

Horse racing in Oman has created thanks to the vision of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said, mentioned Nasr bin Hamoud al Kindi, secretary basic of Royal Court Affairs, in the course of a meeting with horse owners and trainers from numerous governorates of the sultanate.

The meeting was held prior to the launch of the horse racing season organised by Royal Horse Racing Club of the Royal Court Affairs. The secretary basic of Royal Court Affairs mentioned that the 2018-19 season will consist of 20 horse race days. The initial 1 will be organised on October 18 at Al Rahba Racecourse in Barka.

Kindi spoke about horse racing and its developments in the sultanate with the efforts exerted by Royal Court Affairs.

He also praised the cooperation of horse owners and trainers with Royal Horse Racing Club. The meeting was attended by Brig Gen Abdulrazak Abdulqader Alshahwarzi, commander of Royal Cavalry, and officials of Royal Horse Racing Club.
